First, set your vision for the project. What are your goals? What do you envision the end result to be? Set a defined goal for your project that all other tasks on this list will follow.

Second, outline your objectives for the entire project. Divide the project up into “sections,” and designate how long it will take you to complete each one. This will also help give your employees, clients, and customers an idea of what they can expect and when to expect it.

You also will want to assign each task to a staff member and appoint leaders. There is no “I” in team. It takes a village working together to make any and every project successful—no matter how big or small the job may be. Once you have assigned your team members their duties, make sure they know what is expected or needed from them.
